There is a lack of educational performance in school systems throughout Florida when referring to the youth in low income areas. The academic underachievement in this population results in unemployment and lack of healthcare which often leads to reliance on public assistance placing an undue burden on Florida’s economy.

Failure in education equates to failure in the future. As technology improves, the economy will become less dependent on human labor, therefore, education becomes the indispensable tool of the future.

Now days, young males and females transition from childhood to adulthood without a fair chance at greatness. They are unable to overcome obstacles because they lack the proper teachings. Mission Be Great focuses on expanding knowledge and building self- efficiency.
